Thus, it is not surprising that Yogyakarta has plentiful dance performances each and every day for various purposes: study (including cultural dialogue and knowledge exchange among the artists), traditional ceremony, recital, and entertainment.

By Joining the Dancing Cities Network, The existence of dance in Yogyakarta can be endorsed worldwide through a perfect channel. Additionally, this affiliation will hopefully bring a brighter outlook for the development of dance activities in Yogyakarta.
